M34 - MIDDLETON

First of the two Royal Navy mine sweepers that were seen this afternoon passing BVT Scotstoun.

Seen here passing a fellow Scotstoun built ship. HMS DARING.


A nice moment in time here. She was built in the hall seen off her stern, slipping down those very ways almost 25 years ago. She is one of only two ships that were built in the GRP hall. Glass Re-inforced Plastic. As has been documented on here, the hall is in the proccess of being pulled down.
Nice to see a final sail past by one of its products before the hall disappears.
