QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 - 70,327 grt

The most famous ship in the world, The QE2, berthed at Greenock Ocean Terminal (GOT) for the very last time. Launched by HM Queen Elizabeth II on the 20th september 1967 from the John Brown shipyard in Clydebank. She is on a round Britian farewell cruise before she retires. On the 28th of November she will arrive in Dubai to be converted into a hotel. The Glasgow University online galleries of her construction and outfitting can be Viewed Here.
