SEA HAWK

SEA HAWK - 1,959 grt

Seen this afternoon as she made her way up to Princes dock in Govan. She is in with more steelwork for the new Tradeston footbridge, like SHETLAND TRADER was last week. The sections for the bridge were prefabricated up in Invergordon and shipped down. In the background is the modern day Meadowside. For more info on SEA HAWK Read Here.


The new Riverside museum taking shape.


The tall ship GLENLEE alongside one of the old Anchor Line berths. She will be moved alongside the new museum in 2011.


The land that was Queens dock.
Now home to the Crowne Plaza hotel and the Clyde Auditorium (the Armadillo) to the right and the Exhibition centre (SECC) to the left. The original entrance to the dock can be seen to the left of the stern, were the car is parked.


Now in Princes dock. Glasgow Uni, Glasgow Tower, the Science centre and the Armadillo. The two funnels of WAVERLEY can be seen across the ships deck.


The Science centre, the Armadillo, the Imax cinema and Auntie's new Scottish hoose.
