YEOMAN BANK - outbound

YEOMAN BANK

On her way out this afternoon after a quick turnaround at Shieldhall. As you can see the weather was horrible. The tugs were WARRIOR III up front and KINDEACE behind. First of class Type 45 DARING can just be seen through the rain.

The mast section of the second Type 45 DAUNTLESS can just be seen to the left.
A two minute break in the rain.

Something different to look at.

For scale as she passes the River Clyde Boatyard.

YEOMAN BANK - inbound

YEOMAN BANK - 24,870 grt

Seen yesterday evening on her way upto Shieldhall docks for another visit. She was last here on the 30th of April.

It was a rotten day for it.

Tugs upriver

WARRIOR III

KINDEACE on the bulker stern and BATTLER heading back down to Greenock after assisting AGDASH into Rothesay dock.

Two smart looking tugs.

The rain did it's best to spoil the pics.

Shieldhall trio

L-R

A.B. BILBOA - VIRGINIABORG - FRIDA

A.B. BILBOA had arrived, at the scrap berth, earlier in the day. This was the scene at 20:00 last night. Nice to see three decent size ships in at once.

Eh...Almost.

FRIDA

FRIDA 2,610 grt

She arrived on monday evening with a load of wind turbine parts. Unusual to see a ship of this size require two tugs. The wind was gusting and there seemed to be a struggle canting her. I'm sure she should've been in at KGV with that load but she ended up at Shieldhall.
Clyde Marine Services' BRUISER on her bow and Svitzer's WARRIOR III on her stern.

Excuse the poor light. It was a horrible night for it.

It was at this point that there seemed to be a slight struggle with her. She seemed to want to drift upriver. Good work done by the two tugs companies.

I'm still sure she was bound for the KGV wind turbine berth.

VIRGINIABORG

VIRGINIABORG - 6,361 grt

Inbound on monday afternoon with a load of grain for Shieldhall. Another one from the Wagenborg fleet. More of her details can be Read Here. KINDEACE was on her stern.

Alongside Shieldhall.

KENILWORTH

KENILWORTH

Making her way downriver on monday afternoon. Beautiful looking boat. The ferry RENFREW ROSE making her way over to the southbank. DARING in the background.

Passing the inbound bulker.

Passing Lobnitz basin.
