Clyde Marine at Scotstoun

The Clyde Marine line up prior to DAUNTLESS & DEFENDER swapping positions. From the left...BATLER, CMS BUSTER, BRUISER, BITER, BOOJUM BAY, BEAVER BAY and FENCER. The following run of shots are from friday's Type 45 dry docking.

BATTLER waiting on the dock gate as a yokohama fender is lifted into the dry dock prior to the move.

The dock gate now floating and ready to be moved clear.

BATTLER and the dock gate moving upriver and clear of the Type 45's as BEAVER BAY works the stern of DEFENDER.

BRUISER was working the bow of DEFENDER. BOOJUM BAY went onto the stern of DAUNTLESS.

CMS BUSTER on the bow of DAUNTLESS with BOOJUM BAY on the stern. FENCER was assisting DEFENDER.

BOOJUM BAY keeping DAUNTLESS mid channel as BRUISER and FENCER line DEFENDER up with No.2 dry dock.

By this time the tide was heading out and BOOJUM BAY was being kept busy with DAUNTLESS.

With the dry docking of DEFENDER almost complete BITER headed out from No.2 to assist BOOJUM BAY.

BITER preparing to take over from BOOJUM BAY.

With DEFENDER now in place BRUISER was free to assist BITER with DAUNTLESS. BATTLER can be seen moving the dock gate back into position.

Two hours of gloom and five minutes of sunshine.

With the dock gate now in position BATTLER was free to assist DAUNTLESS. DRAGON (D35) can be seen in No.3 dry dock. She will start her first sea trials in the summer of 2010.

Against the tide.

BOOJUM BAY standing by. ARKLOW RAVEN can be seen up at Shieldhall. She arrived in with maize and then shifted to the Shieldhall scrap berth once the maize was unloaded. She has since departed.

Job almost done as BOOJUM BAY heads for home. CMS BUSTER, BATTLER, BRUISER and BITER were still berthing DAUNTLESS alongside DIAMOND. It was at the point I called it a day.
