WAVERLEY

PS WAVERLEY

A few shots of the old girl as she headed downriver tonight with a load of ex pupils from Clydebank High School. The big factory in the background was the old Scotstoun Gun Works, now home to Albion Automotive.

Passing what was the original Scotstoun shipyard of Yarrow & Co. Two open building berths and a small fitting out basin. The old Arrol 40 ton travelling crane, installed in 1963, has her jib off and it looks like she'll never be used again.

She gave a salute to the yard and the Clyde's latest newbuild DAUNTLESS.

Heading downriver with the tower blocks of Radnor Park in Clydebank away the distance.
