Friday afternoon and the tug WILLPOWER heading down the River Cart with a barge in tow. The barge contained steel framing from
Steel Engineering in Renfrew. Assisting the
Williams Shipping duo were the Troon based tug RED COUNTESS and TRIO from the
River Clyde Boatyard. The cargo was destined for
Ferguson Shipbuilders in Port Glasgow and a
barge that is being converted for use in the cable laying industry.
Leaving the River Cart and entering the River Clyde on their way downriver to Port Glasgow.
