Goodbye YOKER SWAN & RENFREW ROSE

The final evening on the Renfrew ferry. RENFREW ROSE at the Yoker slip and YOKER SWAN over at the Pudzeoch basin. The SPT service open to the public is due to end at 1230 tomorrow (31st). She will do a few private runs between 1230-1330. The Clyde-Link is due to start tomorrow morning. Hopefully a smooth hand over.
Just as the SPT service is ending so is the life of the Pudzeoch basin.

Seen this cold afternoon as she arrived in for Rothesay dock, Clydebank. She was assisted by Sviter's AYTON CROSS and Clyde Marine's BRUISER. AASFJORD can be seen in the background, heading downriver after a visit to Shieldhall.

FURE STAR

FURE STAR - 9,382 grt

Seen on Monday afternoon arriving in for Rothesay dock. She was assisted by Svitzer's ANGLEGARTH and Clyde Marine's BRUISER. More details on FURE STAR can be Read Here.

Both seen at Renfrew on Monday afternoon. ANITA had been in for another visit to the Lobnitz basin. Clyde Marine's BITER was down from KGV dock to assist with her departure.

Seen here on Sunday afternoon whilst alongside the Rothesay dock fuel terminal. I'm sure this is her first visit to Clydebank, more of her details can be Read Here. Over to the right is the River Clyde Boatyard and in the background are the masts of DRAGON and DIAMOND up at Scotstoun.

New Renfrew - Yoker ferry

The SPT ferry service is due to end at 12:30pm on the 31st of March. Silvers Marine have been chosen to run a new service between Yoker and Renfrew. The new service will be known as Clyde Link and is due to start before SPT cease their crossing. The shot above is of RENFREW ROSE arriving at Yoker with the new Clyde Link boat going through some trials. Good Luck to the the new operator and shame on the former high heid yins within SPT.

DELTAGRACHT & LINNAU

DELTAGRACHT - 13,400 grt

A look down on Shieldhall Riverside with DELTAGRACHT alongside with a load of salt.


Arriving in for Shieldhall Riverside with a load of dry bulk, possibly animal feed.


Swinging onto her berth.

Once she has been unloaded at Shieldhall Riverside she will likely shift up to the Shieldhall scrap berth.

ARKLOW REBEL & BOOJUM BAY

A few shots from yesterday and ARKLOW REBEL arriving in for Lobnitz basin, Renfrew. Clyde Marine's BOOJUM BAY was waiting to assist the cargo ship into the basin.

Tuesday movements

The cargo ship DELTAGRACHT passing Clydebank on her way up to Shieldhall, Glasgow. She is in with a load of salt. The SEPA survey ship SIR JOHN MURRAY was heading back downriver after a short visit to Glasgow.

Nearing her berth, KOSSAU was already at Shieldhall. She arrived in this morning for a load of scrap metal.


MORNES arriving in with a load of road salt as DELTAGRACHT is swung onto her berth up at Shieldhall Riverside.


DIAMOND (D34) alongside the Wall at Scotstoun, DELTAGRACHT and KOSSAU alongside Shieldhall and MORNES on her way up to No.10 berth at KGV dock.


AASLI arrived in shortly after MORNES. She is in with a load of aggregates.


A few hours later and both ships looking a lot lighter. This is due to both ships having the ability to self discharge.


KOSSAU in for scrap metal and DELTAGRACHT in with dry bulk.

TERNHOLM - outbound
